Stevie Gomez - Graphic Designer

Each project is a journey down a road. As your graphic artist, I’m your traveling guide. Our goal is to reach your destination with a finished project. We'll draw a road map and source out any supplies needed, though most work is digital. We'll make periodic stops to check in with another on our progress. And when we arrive at our destination, I want you feel the journey was worth it and be happy with the destination.

The journey teaches each of us a lesson of what we did well and what we can do better. And feedback is how we make trips faster, effective and efficient. I am constantly improving my art. If you're lost, seeking what direction to take your project, I'd like help you find the way.

Process of Design

I like to keep it both real and digital. I often combine real elements with digital ones. I use traditional tools such as art pencils (i.e. 4B, 2H, 2B 4H etc.), colored pencils, an art compass, Wacom graphics tablet, rulers, protractors, shape templates etc.

The process is pretty simple and standard.

1. Analysis/Discovery.

This means doing the necessary reserch on your industry, audience or product line and type.

2. Synthesis/Development

This mean conceptualizing the idea in a sketch and shaping it, much like one would do with raw clay and pottery.

3. Evaluation/Delivery

This means you'll evaluate the work. If revisions are required, I'll produce them until we have a finalized work to deliver to you in an agreed upon format.

My tools of the trade are standards like:

Adobe Creative Suite

3rd party drawing software

A graphics tablet and pen

Standard art pencils and paper stocks

India ink and calligraphy pens

A great imagination

Let's journey together.
